Box Score 4 It was a full weekend of soccer action for the Providence Pilots as both the men's and women's teams wrapped up their final home doubleheader of the regular season — highlighted by Jr. Pilots Day on Saturday, celebrating the young athletes from the Pilots Fall Soccer Academy.
Women's Soccer
The Pilots women's team put on an offensive showcase, defeating the CMU Blazers 15–0 on Saturday afternoon. Goals came early and often, with contributions from across the roster. Giana Denora opened the scoring in the 2nd minute, followed by a flurry of tallies from Halle Owen, Hannah DeGueldre, Avery Meyer, and another from Denora. DeGueldre finished with four goals, Owen with three, and Laurianne Chiasson added three assists in a commanding team effort that kept the Blazers off the board entirely.

On Sunday, the Pilots carried that momentum into another decisive win, blanking the Assiniboine Cougars 8–0 in their third and final meeting of the season. Hayley Medeiros led the way with a hat trick, while DeGueldre added another two goals to her weekend total. Breanne Fehr and Olivia Swaby also found the back of the net, rounding out another dominant team performance.
The Pilots now turn their attention to a must-win match against the Brandon Bobcats this Saturday, with the winner earning the right to host the MCAC Championships. The women will then head to Winnipeg on Sunday for a rematch against the CMU Blazers.
Men's Soccer
The men's side battled hard against the CMU Blazers on Saturday, taking a 2–0 lead before halftime with goals from Marco Downie (assist from Johannes Barnes) and Isaac Thiessen (assist from Zach Harman). However, CMU responded with two second-half goals, and the match ended in a 2–2 draw.

The Pilots regrouped quickly on Sunday, defeating the Assiniboine Cougars 2–0. Isaac Aman opened the scoring in the 71st minute, followed by a late insurance goal from Ben Maier (assist from Jacob Boyd). Both Maier and Boyd made their returns to the field after several weeks sidelined with injuries, making their contributions all the more impactful.

Both teams will then face the CMU Blazers in Winnipeg on Sunday to close out the regular season.
